  • Use fluoride toothpaste. 
  • Brush at least twice daily; floss daily, too.  
  • Invest in an antiseptic mouth rinse and use it regularly after eating or drinking. 
  • Make sure that you replace your toothbrush every few months.  
  • See your dentist regularly for examinations and cleanings to reduce the tartar and plaque that can accumulate on and around the teeth.
